SERVICES

We'll work alongside you to develop a package of care that supports you and your disabled person to meet their goals.  So that you, can do, what you need to do to replenish your own carer cup.

We support whaikaha and tagata sa'ilimalo to:

  • Live independently – either on your own, with friends or family, or in shared accommodation.

  • Enjoy the interests and hobbies you have and develop new ones.

  • Help you grow your skills.

  • Go on holiday.

  • Keep in touch with the people who are important to you.

As part of your support pack, you can expect:

  • To have choice and control at all times about what you do and how you are supported.

  • If you can't speak, we will work with you to find out how you like to communicate.

  • We will work with you to choose your TK carer so they match your personality and interests.

  • We will support you to keep safe and healthy.

  • Your support plan will be regularly reviewed with you, your whānau and aiga to ensure it reflects your goals.

Carer Services

We have a team of carers who are available for a min of 1/2day (exception: the transition package). Who work weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

Our care team members are experienced carers certified in L2 First Aid and Mental Health. All are police vetted, understand safe moving and handling practices and are proficient in the use of PECs and AAC tools, they understand that behaviors are nothing more than a form of communication.

Sharing your vision for the future

Let experienced facilitators and designers visualise your best life journey as a map, with achievable agreed plans.

Your best life map is best developed alongside your family, care team, service providers and funders.

We encourage you to invite all your support services to your workshop (needed for a max of 30mins) doing this means that we can visualise a fully comprehensive life journey map that speaks to the goals each service is tasked to help with.
