Manawa ngawari nga korero is a provider led community support initiative for disabled people and families to support your aspirations of connection kanohi kei te kanohi (talk in person).

in your home or with your support networks at a different location
with your communities and social networks
with your church or interest groups
as a precautionary measure to minimise exposure to COVID-19, and other air-borne pollutants

WHO'S ELIGABLE AND WHERE IT'S AVAILABLE

THE CRITERIA

Identify as Tāngata whaikaha Māori or tagata Sa’ilimalo
Completed application from whaikaha Māori/ Sa'ilimalo or their whānau/ aiga
Disabled person living independently or with whānau/ agia
Residing in NZ in one of the following areas: Auckland; Wellington; Waikato; the Bay of Plenty; Northland or Canterbury
Have a goal to connect in-person, with a community group or support network
Be an existing user of Disability Support Services

check your application against the criteria

AIR PURIFICATION PACKAGES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR:

Community groups or service providers to request

those who have received support from another CIC fund provider

those living outside of the areas identified

4. OUTCOME NOTIFIED

Outcome notification within 48hrs

Confirmation will be provided via txt/ phone call AND email

Should your area allocation be exhausted, and the additional packages be allocated, we can hold your application (up to June 2023) while we determine if we can secure addition funding support for your request.

5. DELIVERY ARRANGED

We may contact you to re-confirm your delivery address.

You will receive a delivery notification sent to the email address you provide to us.
